This is How I Located him.

Before Observing much first started with a basic reverse image lookup for the image using Yandex and Bing. Got some results of May 27th with articles of “Water Crisis in Pakistan”, started to research on these pointers and got to know that this is not the only area where such crisis has happened, instead in Pakistan there are a lot of areas where crisis happened in the past, areas like Lahore, Quetta and Sindh were some of them. Locating the Image was a bit difficult as all these articles were from the past I needed to investigate on something very recent.

**Started to Investigate on the Image

Started Observing the image for Indicators/pointers for locating the area. Started checking for symbols(company name) on Blue and Yellow water tanks but didn’t found much. Even tried verifying them with the leads from articles. While looking at other indicators got a transparent container with a mirror image from behind. Enhanced and deblurred using remini.ai, rotated the image and saw two animal like creatures with a star above them, tried reverse searching but didn’t found relevant results. Started searching nearby provinces of Pakistan and their respective logos. Then finally matched them with the logo of Balochistan (Province of Pakistan). Cleared the fact that it has nothing to do with the articles I found in the start as they were mostly from upper part of Pakistan i.e Sindh and Quetta.

**Begin to Investigate other Indicators.

Noticed a carving on one of the black container, nothing was clear so rotated and tried to take snapshots of other positions, cleared it using remini.ai and figured its similar to Urdu. Then thought of using Yandex Image Translater and lexilogos for translating it. The Text ended up being “Government Degree College Usta Mohammad” Started searching if “Usta Mohammad” was a person/entity after a while saw its the name of a City which is located in Balochistan. This Cleared the fact that the water supply from Government of Pakistan was (operated/financed) by other local bodies and this time it was Government Degree College Usta Mohammad. Found a Facebook page facebook[dot]com/govtdcusm, used some custom dorks and filtered for water supply. Got nothing concrete so went up on zoomearth and located this collage, turned heat filter (A live satellite imagery filter which shows heat patches in realtime) near the college there were places where heat patches were evident so copied the coordinates and opened that in Google Earth.
